We decided to enjoy the pleasures of cool Spring hiking, when there are no bugs, undergrowth is minimal, few people, supposedly no rain. Instead we did get rain, came close to being hypothermic, with no easy way to build a fire. After a supreme combined effort, we overcame all our problems, and came to thoroughly enjoy the rest of the journey.
