Newquay and surrounding towns are popular with surfers because of the large waves. I watched a couple braving large waves on a miserable day when the sea was at its roughest. I opted to stay safely on the beach.
**It is better to watch the slideshow on a small screen because I took the photos from a distance without a zoom lens so therefore the quality is not great on a large screen.
