Cania Gorge is located in the Cania Gorge National Park, Queensland, Australia. It is 524 km north of Brisbane,and about 250 km inland from Bundaberg. This walk took us about 3 hours to complete. The bird life in the area is amazing.

The Living Desert & Statues are located about 9 Kilometers from Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. A 20 Minute walk up the hill from the car park in the hot afternoon sun sure works up a sweat, but it is well worth the effort.

Silverton is located about 25 Klms from Broken Hill in New South Wales, Australia. Minerals were discovered here before they were found in Broken Hill. Silverton is now a tourist attraction and scenes from the Mad Max & Pricilla Queen of the Desert Movies plus many more, were filmed here.

North of Goyder's Line in South Australia, the land was considered too arid for crop farming. This didn't stop some farmers from trying, but the uncertain rains ruined their dreams. The Stationmaster's Residence and the Kanyaka Homestead ruins are just a few of the deserted properties from a bygone era.

Located on New Zealand South Island, Cave Stream reserve is on the road to Arthur's Pass and is only a few minutes drive from Castle Hill. The stream flows through the cave under the hill. A great destination for adventure seakers without too much risk.

We follow the Junction Track through patches of native wildflowers in full bloom and enjoy the magnificent panorama created by giant boulders, the creek bedrock, and the surrounding granite hills. The track takes us to the junction of Bald Rock Creek and Ramsay Creek. The water from these creeks eventually flows into rivers in southern Australia.

A light hearted look at the climb to Cathedral Arch which is at The Girraween Environmental Lodge. The climb took us to the top of the hill set with massive granite boulders and panoramic views across to the pyramids. The Lodge is set on 400 acres of private land surrounded by the National Park.

Captured with a Sony PMW-EX1 and using a hand held LED torch for lighting, Mum Possum with Baby Possum pay us a visit while we stayed at the Girraween Environmental Lodge. Situated on 400 Acres of private land surrounded by National Parks, the land is home to a great variety of Flora and Fauna. Girraween National Park is about 20 mins drive South of Stanthorpe in the Granite Belt of Queensland.
