My last full day in NZ (for this trip). I really enjoyed the scenery of Mt Cook National Park on my first trip to NZ but was in too much of a hurry to take-on this tramp. On a fine day it is worth it! I started early (around 7am) and lazed around at the hut for several hours, returning about 3pm to the village. Great time. March 2012.

Some scenic clips from my tramp over Lagoon and Cass saddles in March. The weather these few days was incredible. I really enjoyed this walk so much. A few clips at the end from a sidetrip up Hamilton Peak from Cass Saddle. The workers at the comm-site on the peak were busy installing new guy wires on a mast.

Scenes are in chrono order from my walk in the Lewis Pass to Boyle Village direction. I was going pretty slow so it took me about 4 hours. Saw some locals just blasting through but I didn't want to tear up my rig.
