On this occasion 18 manta rays showed up and put out an amazing show while feasting in the middle of living ring of light from divers and snorkelers numbered in tens. |

Pt. Lobos jellyfish maddness - diving Point lobos Great pinnacle on 10.18.2009 Posted by: midael75
Video duration: 126 seconds Diving in Pt. Lobos state reserve at Great Pinnacle from Beach hopper II on 2009-10-18. The pinnacle was surrounded by clouds of jellyfish (sea nettles to be precise). There must have been thousands of them with their stinging tentacles. Good example of fine northern California diving. |

Video duration: 240 seconds Scuba diving SS Yongala wreck on 8th of July, 2009 at the great barrier reef of Australia. The passanger ship S.S. Yongala sank off Cape Bowling Green on or about 23 March 1911. It now lies in about 27m (~89ft) of water. SS Yongala's wreck has been called one of the 10 best wreck dives in the world. It is currently (as of 2009) accessible through dive operations from both Townsville and Ayr. |
