Presenting Little Dreambox Studio's new production, "Spring Wind". A tale ... Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 238 seconds Presenting Little Dreambox Studio's new production, "Spring Wind". A tale inspired partly by Chekhov's "The Bear", Spring Wind is a tale of love, obsession and good old Russian weirdness. Music is by Karen Gibb and Mark Reed, and was composed during the rehearsal period. I shot and edited this for Little Dreambox as a pitch video for the new show. |

Jupiter: Galileo Country Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 106 seconds Some shots of Jupiter and its moons Ganymede, Io and Europa grabbed as Highly Dubious explores the system. Music by Kevin MacLeod is "To the Ends", at www.incompetech.com Thanks for your generosity Kevin! Cloud Flythru Two Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 31 seconds Another variation on a theme I've done before, with a tiny bit more compexity. Made in After Effects, using only still images in 3D space. See JEROMOV's channel for a detailed walkthrough on how to do this kind of thing. |

Summertime Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 99 seconds Bits and pieces from the latter part of this year- Sugar Cane, Frangipanis, Poincianas, some shots from the old (and from the new) trawler marina, and what I think are Spice Finches who live out back behind where I work. Another bunch of stuff! I guess it becomes a brief look at summer up here. |

Galactic Exit Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 192 seconds A journey away from it all, from the Highly Dubious High Earth Orbit station to destinations unknown at the edge of our galaxy. We all need to get away once in a while. Our craft is capable of travelling at over 6 light years a second, so distance is less of a concern than you might think. We're really just going round the block here. |

Ten Questions Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 410 seconds Gardenspoon asked for 10 questions, and we gave 'em. Then GS asked for answers from all! So here are mine. Different. I don't often get in front of a camera, and it's pretty obvious why. |

Depth of Field Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 76 seconds Matters of light and depth here at Highly Dubious. I wasn't going to make a video this weekend, but damned if I didn't just kludge this together more or less on autopilot. Shot over the last month or so, here's a bunch of stuff and things, accompanied by the music of Sklyine Trooper, with the track "When the World Was Young". Winter Morning Moon Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 76 seconds First we have the Moon. A daytime shot I got at work one morning. Some Kites (local birds of prey) fly nearby. There were these Rainbow Bee-eaters behind the building as well (visiting for WInter); and a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo shrieking from on high nearby. A beautiful tropical winter morning. The music's by Oleg Sirenko - Drops is the name of the track, CC Licensed. |

Sunset Sunday Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 71 seconds Took myself out for an afternoon shoot at a beachside campground north of where I live...cane country...found some relaxed people by the sea, and watched the islands of the Barrier Reef in the fading sunlight as the mountains slowly cast their shadow on us. |

Bokeh- Rising Stars Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 20 seconds Orbs of light ascend through the darkness, I guess...an After Effects doodle done with some Photoshop brushes. It's just one of those things I'm mucking around with. |

At Linda's Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 139 seconds My legendary sister runs this restaurant in Newtown, Sydney. She had a birthday party there in Feb and a fine friend wrote this number about her. Unfortunately my weapon of choice was the lame-ass Nokia E71, which I don't reccomend as a camera under any circumstances or conditions, ever. Still, needs must when the devil drives etc etc. Love you Linda! |

Lovebirds Close-Up Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 41 seconds These are my Lovebirds, filmed sometime in July last year. The guy on the right died suddenly a little later in September, so I'm glad I got some footage of him in action. Here we're mucking around just before their bedtime. They were so keen on checking out the lens that I pressed record, and here we are! |

Raining- Patrick Levi Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 246 seconds Pat Levi from the Torres Strait is back with a relaxed number called "Raining", appropriate for this time of year in Townsville as the wet season kicks off. This is an edit of three different performances at the Music Centre, shot late last year. |

New Vegas: Through the Reticle Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 35 seconds A screenshot montage from Fallout New Vegas, taken over the last week through the reticle of a Gauss rifle, and also with a pip-boy (tm) camera. I have to conclude that the game is pretty fancy. Jay has been roaming the badlands, finding them most inhospitable. |

Haggis McT: Lunch at Work Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 104 seconds H. McT brings you the latest on lunch...this time, it's work lunch under the hot needle of enquiry. A suprising collection of lunches from a random workplace I raided in the course of my lunch detecting. No names, because what happens at lunch stays at lunch. |

Haggis McT: Lunch Detective Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 54 seconds Haggis McTavish lays it on the line in the Joe Butler: Lunch Detective competition at the VegasStrati channel. Remember: "Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so." -Douglas Adams |

McTavish & Milkbone Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 390 seconds In 1974 we were given a large budget to produce a positive, family friendly cop show. Something went horribly wrong, and McTavish & Milkbone is the result. Two corrupt, small-minded detectives in seedy Dangtown struggle to keep their guns and badges. These brief episodes form the pilot of the series. What large budget, you say? Well, it was the Seventies! That budget went on...other things. |

Tagged! Posted by: haggidubious
Video duration: 81 seconds Harvey Espatchelowe tagged me last week and here I attempt to field the questions! Fortunately I managed to avoid appearing on camera except in extreme closeup, to spare you my goblinesque visage. Tagged, now with bonus parrots. |
