Video duration: 42 seconds An unfortunate cast is made and the lure is entangled amongst the branches overhanging a waterhole. A few quick twitches of the rod and the lure becomes free. Just as the lure makes contact with the water, there is an explosion as it is engulfed by a big perch. |

Video duration: 38 seconds A two hour walk up a rainforest steam produced some of the best Jungle Perch fishing I have ever experienced. 45 fish were caught and many more were hooked and lost. The total catch was 45 fish, and at least 10 of these were bigger than 35cm. Lures of choice were River2Sea Bubble and Buggi Pops in the smallest sizes (35mm). |
